Leaves cylindrical (1-1,5 cm), narrowly pointed, fleshy, smooth, bright yellow, eventually with orange tips, later green-yellow. Flowers in clusters, simple, star-shaped (up to 1 cm), light yellow. Flowering period: June-July. Attracts butterflies and bees. Easily withstands drought and heat. Good also as a container-plant.
